- The Unification Committee was formed with two representatives from the CCBA, Town of Beaver, Town of Pound, Village of Coleman, and Village of Pound
- First Impression Tour was conducted with the Village of Wittenberg. They left us with two thoughts:
- "Sell the community to ourselves first"
- "People go where they are invited and welcome"
- Website developer John Krause was hired to create our website
- A letter was draft and sent to W.D.O.T. regarding the renaming of Hwy. 141 : Cty. C-P vs Business 141
- Scholarship Program developed - to start in 2006
2004
- First Impression Tour researched & discussed - working with UW Extension
- Presented CCBA Proposed Business Plan
- 1st Annual Spring Sale
- Fundraiser / Banquet discussed & organized
- Business Directory developed & created
- Professor BaBa & Brian Peot were contracted to do a comprehensive study of the existing Hwy. 141 after the new Hwy. is complete
2003
- CCBA was formed with the first formal meeting held on June 19, 2003
- Officers were elected, By-laws voted in, & Mission Statement created
- Committees were established: Membership & Training, Market Analysis, Advertising & Promotion, Community Development
- Meetings are quarterly with guest speakers if possible
- Research started on the impact of the Hwy. by-pass to the community
- Marinette County Tourism Guide - CCBA first time participating in magazine - expected participation each year
- Logo contest conducted & winner selected
